Current Practice in Therapeutic Sperm Preparation
ARCS are pleased to announce that registration for the 'ARCS Current Practice in Therapeutic Sperm Preparation' event is now open.
ARCS would welcome attendance from a lead reproductive scientist from every fertility clinic and donor bank in the UK and other interested scientists to attend this event to be held on Thursday 17th September 2026 at University of Birmingham.
The key aim of the day is to share current clinical practice around the UK and to discuss quality of published evidence on optimised sperm preparation for treatment. We hope to generate lively debate on optimising semen samples for treatment, analysis of semen samples for treatment, and suitable sperm preparation methods with contribution from all UK-based fertility clinics and donor banks.
Current practice data, evidence-base, and discussion from the day, will be collated by ARCS and the outcomes from the day used to support a publication on current practice in therapeutic sperm preparation methods in the UK. All participating clinics will be acknowledged for their contribution to the publication.
Each registrant will be asked to provide preliminary information to help inform the day.
This event is free to attend for ARCS members and £75 for non-members. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
